A wondrous renewal for Old Town Dubai

A primary goal of this project was to respect and reflect the core cultural values of Dubai while creating a vibrant, family-friendly, leisure-focused destination for locals and tourists. FORREC’s plan makes full use of both the adjacent park and the waterfront to create an inviting pedestrian environment. At the core, a retail village features contemporary architecture with a Dubai flavour.

World-class shopping, dining and entertainment lead right to a theme park in a lush garden setting, an eco water park and a 1,000-seat amphitheatre for cultural events. Luxury resort hotels flank the marina and offer waterfront views. At the far western corner, the sports club offers tennis courts and indoor facilities to members and guests. Lush plantings, covered walkways and bridges connect the amenities.

該項(xiàng)目的主要目標(biāo)是尊重和反映迪拜的核心文化價(jià)值，同時(shí)為當(dāng)?shù)鼐用窈陀慰蛣?chuàng)造一個(gè)充滿活力、家庭友好、以休閑為重點(diǎn)的目的地。FORREC的計(jì)劃充分利用了相鄰的公園和濱水區(qū)，創(chuàng)造了一個(gè)誘人的步行環(huán)境。一個(gè)零售村的核心是具有迪拜風(fēng)味的當(dāng)代建筑。

世界級的購物、餐飲和娛樂設(shè)施直接通向一個(gè)主題公園，園內(nèi)環(huán)境郁郁蔥蔥，生態(tài)水上公園和1000個(gè)座位的圓形劇場，用于文化活動。豪華度假酒店環(huán)繞碼頭，提供濱水景觀。在西角，體育俱樂部為會員和客人提供網(wǎng)球場和室內(nèi)設(shè)施。茂盛的種植園、有蓋的人行道和橋梁連接了舒適設(shè)施。
