淺談with復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)在高中教材的應(yīng)用

With的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)是許多英語復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)中最常用的一種，也是高中英語中的一個重要句型，在我們的新教材中這一結(jié)構(gòu)也頻頻出現(xiàn)，例如：

1.       Mother asked her if/weather she was very hot with so many clothes on.  (NSEB1,P5)

2.       He placed a fixed sun at the centre of the solar system with the planets going around it and only the moon still going round the earth.  (NSEB5 P7)

3.       With so many different forms of poetry to choose from, students may eventually want to write poems of their own.  (NSEB6 P11)

4.       Diversity in a group means having animals with their genes arranged in different ways. (NSEB8,P15)

以上例子都是屬于這一結(jié)構(gòu)的應(yīng)用，為了幫助同學(xué)們更好地理解和把握這一結(jié)構(gòu)的用法，筆者就此加以分析總結(jié)，希望對大家有所幫助。。

一．With 復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)的構(gòu)成。

“with +賓語+賓補“構(gòu)成復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)，賓語由名詞，代詞，名詞詞組充當(dāng)，賓補由分詞，不定式，形容詞，副詞，介詞短語，名詞等充當(dāng)。

1.       with +賓語+介詞短語

The girl said goodbye to me with tears in her eye. 那個小女孩含著淚和我道別了。

2.       with +賓語+形容詞

He used to sleep with the door open. 他過去睡覺常開著窗子。

3.       with +賓語+副詞

Tom was lying on the bed with all his clothes on. 湯姆和衣躺在了床上。

4.       with+賓語+現(xiàn)在分詞

With the boy leading the way, we had mo difficulty finding the village. 由一小男孩帶路，我們很容易就找到了那座村莊。

注：現(xiàn)在分詞表示主動動作，即分詞所表示的動作是由with后的賓語發(fā)出來的。

5.       with +賓語+不定式

I can’t go out with all these dishes to wash.  要洗刷這么多餐具，我不能出門。

注：不定式是指將要進行的動作

6.with +賓語+過去分詞

With all his work finished, he went home. 所有工作做完后，他回家了。

注：過去分詞表示被動，with后面的賓語與過去分詞之間是被動關(guān)系。

7 with+賓語+名詞

She died with her daughter yet a schoolgirl.  她去世時女兒還是個學(xué)童。

二．             With復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)的作用.

With復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)在句中通常作狀語，表時間，原因，條件，伴隨，方式等，例如：   

With machinery to do all the work ，they will soon have got in the crops. 由于所有的工作都由機器進行，他們將很快收完莊稼。（原因狀語）

   The boy always sleeps with his head on the arm. .這個孩子總是頭枕著胳膊睡覺。 （伴隨狀語）

The soldier had him stand with his back to his father.  士兵要他背對著他父親站著。 （方式狀語）

With spring coming on, trees turn green. 春天到了，樹變綠了。（時間狀語）

With so many people to help us, we are sure to finish the task in time.（條件狀語） 有這么多人幫忙，我們一定能按時完成任務(wù)。

此結(jié)構(gòu)有時也可作定語，例如：

Anyone with its eyes in his head can see it’s exactly like a rope. 任何一個頭上長著眼睛的人都能看出它完全像一條繩子。

 The women with a baby in her arms is Mary’s mother.  懷里抱著一個嬰兒的那位女性就是瑪麗的媽媽。
